Art holidays at Le Poirier are holidays with a difference

Residential courses with FULL BOARD on our French farmstead for artists of all abilities and ages.

Accommodation is in three spacious cottages on our self-contained farmstead Le POIRIER with swimming pools and private gardens . Le POIRIER A Poitou Charentes farmhouse converted into 3 gites, La Fermette, Le Grenier and La Chouette and now also  our newly converted barn Le P'tit Nid situated in the heart of the Deux Sevres countryside, providing a peaceful retreat to relax, be creative, gain expert tuition and enjoy local food and wine.

Jenny and Malcolm OLeary are your hosts, who welcome you to join them Jenny is a practicing artist and teacher, with over twenty years teaching experience, Malcolm is your chef, and will provide the nourishment to fuel your creative talents!

During a holiday at Le Poirier we hope to inspire confidence and to provide the inspiration for you to learn and develop skills in exciting techniques that may be new to you such as Batik, Painting on silk and Machine embroidery and Collage.
